Inhale LOVE exhale GRATITUDE….
What are you grateful for today?
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that in order to achieve contentment, one should “cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously.”
Being grateful for your blessings in life is arguably what opens the door to a life of success and prosperity. There’s nothing quite like a yoga class to help you appreciate and remember the many blessings in life we have. A yoga mat for children and adults is a perfect place to reflect and express those feelings.
Gratitude is the key to experiencing life at its best. When you are truly grateful, you find yourself living with greater purpose and passion. Being grateful will give you meaning because it allows you to capture the full essence of every moment. It takes the burden out of life while adding a dimension of beauty, and it allows you to find contentment even in moments of crisis. Research is continually finding that expressing thanks can lead to a healthier, happier and less-stressed lifestyle.
Life can be a series of problems and a lot of these problems can cause stress. Gratitude can be that stress buster! So many people in the world today are battling through toxic thoughts and negative words. These thoughts and words create negative cycles in your lives. To change the sequence of the words and then the thoughts we should learn to be grateful this will help to create new possibilities.
Want to embrace gratitude then here’s some tips:
Writing down 3 things each day which make you grateful can empower you to be grateful in all circumstances of life.
Spend more time with LOVED ones. My husband, kids, family and friends are the most important people in my life. I am thankful that I have them and for all they do for me. The support they give to me and my children never goes un-noticed for this I am grateful.
Focus on the positive, remove and replace, change the order of the toxic wording! I am a negative thinker, by nature I worry constantly much to my husbands annoyance as he is always so positive. I try to think before I react, think about the bigger picture at times my worries get the better of me however by focusing on the positives it helps me be grateful.
Volunteer, grateful people know there no other way to give thanks than to pay it back! I find giving to other satisfying. I have been a kind generous thoughtful person all of my life. I give to my family, friends, others in the community and to my franchisees. Giving not to receive but because it makes me thankful that. There have been times when people have been most un-appreciative of my giving it could have easily made me sour. But one thing I try to remember is not everyone is as thankful as the last, and it does not stop me from doing something that makes me thankful.
Get moving! Yoga, running swimming, horse riding, walking anything which is exercise has been proven to clear your mind and reduce stress, all key components in setting yourself up for gratitude. Thankful people who move their feet experience an overall healthier mind and body, therefore making gratitude one of the best medicines.
