Empowering women through pregnancy and beyond with the use of breathing, mindfulness and inspired stretching.  

Kalma Mamas pre and post natal yoga classes are relaxation sessions, incorporating stretching and breathing to help combat pregnancy and post natal ailments.  Created by yoga teachers, anatomy specialists and midwives, classes are suitable no matter how you choose to birth.  We strongly believe that mindful relaxation can help bonding and reduce the risks of Post Natal Depression and this starts from within the womb.

Kalma Mamas Prenatal relaxation: From 12 weeks

Taking time out of your busy week to enjoy being pregnant, prepare for birth and connect with your baby. Classes are filled with practical tips and are great way to meet other mum’s-to-be.  We aim to cover elements of pregnancy both pre and post-natal ensuring health and well-being for mothers is our priority.  Relaxation once you become a mother is incredibly beneficial for your emotional and mental wellbeing as you travel through this unique journey of motherhood caring for your family’s needs and recognizing your own individual needs.  

Kalma Mamas Postnatal relaxation: birth to 12 weeks 

Experience relaxation and recuperation during the fourth trimester.  Classes will teach alternative holding and techniques to enhance your confidence in handling your new baby.   

Understanding and responding to a baby’s feelings and needs is crucial to their wellbeing and development.  Mothers naturally respond to their baby, but we aim to provide a relaxing, supportive and safe environment for this to happen in. 

Kalma Mamas empowers, encourages and supports women through the postnatal period helping to mould future parenting journeys.

Just add water to Kalma Mamas: From 12 weeks

Float your way through an hour of stretches and breathing, using water resistance to help support your growing bump, muscles and joints. Our Aquamamas yoga program has been expertly designed combining relaxation with Yoga exercises to help prepare the body for birth.  We combine one of the safest ways to exercise in pregnancy with a holistic approach for expectant mum’s physical and mental well-being.
