Children’s yoga classes in Northumberland

Hello my name is Lucy and I am very excited to be delivering Kalma Life children’s yoga classes across Northumberland. We offer a variety of children’s and baby yoga classes including mindfulness classes and baby massage

How I became a Franchisee

I in 2017 I found a Kalma Baby classes with my daughter and we’ve been hooked ever since. When the opportunity arose to be part of the award winning Kalma Life team I jumped at the chance. I have always loved working with children and know from first-hand how amazing the classes are. They help with bonding, aiding with sleep and improving the development of fine motor skills. There are also many other benefits for children doing yoga.

My Qualifications

I have 15 years of teaching experience in dance, and it delights me that I can transfer some of these skills to my classes. I am fully qualified, including first aid and safeguarding. Fully insured, and have an enhanced DBS check. The Kalma Life brand also boasts a GOLD accreditation from the Children’s Activity Association.

I look forward to meeting you and your little ones and welcoming you to the wonderful world of Kalma Life!!

What do people say about us?
Activities are tailored to your baby’s age and the rationale/ benefits for specific poses are given. Nate has really enjoyed the Lycra sling and yoga ball work in particular and my arms have definitely had a workout with all his bouncing!

Bonding time between parent and baby is so important and Kalma baby offers just that, the touch, the one on one interaction the use of all senses – its brilliant, not to mention helping baby become more flexible easing any wind issues and also helping baby with coordination. Lucy’s classes are brilliant, well thought out, full of variety coupled with a relaxed, happy environment 👌

Kalma Baby in Cramlington is such a wonderful class for me and my daughter to attend. Emilia and I have had lots of fun doing yoga together, learning new songs and ideas for sensory and play time. Lucy is a fab teacher; she is lovely with the babies and toddlers and always provides a welcoming environment (and lots of tea and coffee at the end of the class). If you are looking for a local, interactive and bonding class with your baby or toddler I would highly recommend it.
